Donna Witt

Donna Witt is a native Texan and the wife of a retired Air Force officer. Together they have a wonderful adult daughter. Donna began her college years at UT Arlington, but ultimately earned her BS in Social Science degree from California State University in Sacramento. Additionally, upon returning to Texas she attended UT San Antonio where she received her Texas teaching credentials for grades K-8 and thereafter taught elementary school in San Antonio's Northeast ISD.

Donna was always an active volunteer in PTA, at Air Force bases' Family Support Centers in the US and England, with the Nisei Ambassadors Drum and Bugle Corps in Chicago, animal shelters, and with her homeowner’s association swim team where she held the position of Team Representative for seven years. While in England Donna served as an elected member to the RAF Upper Heyford Officer’s Wives Club Board. Her family has hosted foreign exchange students from Japan, France, Taiwan, and Korea. In 2004-2006 she was a volunteer at Animal Friends, a no-kill shelter, and was later voted onto its Board of Directors serving as a member and later as Board President. In January 2004, she was a founding member of the Maverick Summer Swim League and has continuously served as its Board President.
