MAVERICK SUMMER SWIM LEAGUE MISSION STATEMENT

The Maverick Summer Swim League provides the children of the greater San Antonio area with
a total aerobic exercise program within the framework of a fun, yet competitive summer swim
program. The league affords families much-needed “togetherness time” by allowing multi-aged
children through age 18 to compete on the same team. Furthermore, the league impacts local
communities by offering children high-quality, low-cost competition stroke instruction,
and scheduled, organized meets. Our mission creates safer neighborhood pools while actively
involving children in a fun and healthy lifestyle.

MAVERICK SUMMER SWIM LEAGUE VISION

Vision: to be recognized as the premier summer swim league servicing the greater San Antonio
area’s youth by providing swimmers with a fun, aerobic summer exercise program, by hiring
highly-qualified coaches, maintaining low team costs, giving teams a voice, while encouraging
charitable giving.
